    Ron entered the industry in 1981 as a service technician for an office equipment and supply company. In 1990, he opened his first office equipment store which was successful for 10 years. Desiring to further enhance his services to customers he used his knowledge and experience to begin a new venture in 2000 – Magnolia Business Systems, Inc. now known as MBS. With humble beginning in a 250 square foot single room and no client base, MBS now operates from an 8,000 square foot facility with satisfied customers throughout northern Mississippi and northwestern Alabama. “It is really great to be able to work with a team of people that enjoys what they do here at MBS. It is not always about the money, yet it is always about relationships. We have a really great group of people here at MBS which I am fortunate and blessed to be around”

  • Becky Laughlin
  • Becky Laughlin (Office Manager)
    Becky began her career as an Office Manager with MBS in 2006. She enjoys the duties she has as well as the people she works with. She lists her flexibility and dedication to being a team player as her greatest assets. Her skills have been improved through Accounting classes, Management Training, and Excel Training. As a people person, she insures that MBS runs very smoothly.

    ​Bringing 15 years of sales experience with him, William Sullivan joined MBS in 2012 as an Account Executive. William would love for his customers to know that they are more than just customers to him, they've become like part of the MBS family. This dedication to excellent service and personal attention to each of his customers are what William feels he bests contributes to the integrity and culture of the company.

  • Rebecca Young (Sales)
    ​Rebecca came to MBS in 2016 as an Account Executive. She appreciates that the company's culture is centered around integrity and service. As a mother of seven children, she is accustomed to investing hard work into her projects, and strives to exceed her customer's expectations. It is her desire that her customers know that they are very important to her, and that she is dedicated to being available for them whenever they should need her.

  • Megan Scaff
  • Megan Scaff (Reception, Computer Repair)
    Megan Scaff-Potter is the Receptionist/Front Computer Technician that will likely greet you at the door. She is trained in computer technology and has previous experience in retail management, which equips her with a unique customer service skill set for our computer division. Working in a professional atmosphere and friendly coworkers are what she enjoys most about working at MBS.

  • Dick Webster
  • Dick Webster (Service Manager/IT)
    ​After retiring from the Air Force with 21 years of service, Dick Webster began his career as Service Manager/IT with MBS in 2011. For him, the diversity of his job, the people he gets to work with, and the "fantastic atmosphere" of MBS are what make MBS such a great place to work. It is very rewarding for him to be able to fix customers' problems and resolve their issues. This goal is enhanced by his Konica Minolta training, as well as his extensive training through COMPTIA, Compaq, and Microsoft.

  • Matt George (Senior Technician)
    Matt George started with MBS in 2008, and has been a Service Technician ever since. He appreciates the casual, small team environment in which to work. He has attended several vendor-sponsored training classes and has years of on-the-job training to assist him. Matt also uses his understanding of networking and computer technology to solve customers problems to the best of his ability.

  • Beth Calvert
  • Beth Calvert (Service Dispatcher/Administration)
    Beth has been with MBS since 2015. She is a graduate of EMCC and MUW, she is married and has one son. Beth values the flexibility of her position, and strives to contribute her 100% best to her responsibilities. Beth would like her customers to know that she is "...here to serve and meet the customer's needs in the best way I can."

  • Keith Haycox (Technician)
    Keith is a self-described Air Force brat. He has been with MBS since 2012. “This has been one of the most fun jobs I’ve ever had. I just love it here.” He is the tech that does most of the copier preventive calls that are made on a weekly basis.

  • Charles Manthy
  • Charles Manthy (Inventory Manager)
    Charles joined the MBS team in 2006. Currently, he is a Service Technician and the Inventory Control Specialist for MBS. The aspect he enjoys most about his job is the constant challenges that are presented to him. With the stability that he contributes, Charles is able to orchestrate behind the scenes to help ensure customer's needs are adequately met.

  • Josh Tillman
  • Josh Tillman (Repair Technician)
    Josh is one of our Service Technicians. He has been with us since 2014. He enjoys the technical aspects of his job, as well as the different challenges that each day brings. For Josh, his imaginative mind and troubleshooting capabilities help him to provide his customers with effective solutions, even if they are outside the proverbial "Box." He has completed numerous Konica Minolta training requirements, and acquired certifications as well. Josh believes his extensive experience with computers contributes to his overall knowledge of the industry.

    As a member of the computer business that recently merged with MBS, John Potter has brought to the table an extensive knowledge base that allows him to repair even the tough issues. John has the skill and know-how to repair and restore your valuable equipment.
